Printmaking Etching Techniques - NEW!
Learn some of the traditional techniques of etching in a two day workshop. Various etching processes will be demonstrated including hardground, softground and drypoint and students will be encouraged to produce an edition of their own artwork during the workshop.
Drawing for Pleasure
Explore the pleasures of drawing in a unique, tranquil environment in a one day workshop.
You will be encouraged to experiment with a variety of media and subjects, including still life and landscape and using a combination of observation and your own imagination.
Bring your own lunch and “refinements” including deckchair, hat and drawing board.
Some materials will be available.

Experimental Printmaking
Learn to explore the innovative possibilities of printmaking through monoprint and drypoint techniques. This weekend workshop is suitable for beginners to printmaking and experienced artists open to experimenting with printmaking techniques to extend and refresh their practice. Basic equipment belonging to the studio will be available including an etching press, but there will be a small studio charge for papers and inks used.

Painting
Have you always wanted to learn to paint? This three day workshop is designed to get you started and introduce you to a range of possible approaches to still life, landscape or starting from a photograph. The tutor will work closely with you to develop your ideas and skills.
